The Renter should have a valid original driving license in their own name from resident country for a minimum of period of 1 year.
Passport holders from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, China, South Korea, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States of America, Luxembourg and Republic of Slovakia are allowed to rent a vehicle in UAE while on visit/transit/or tourist visa, based on their original driving licenses issued from the above countries. For Passport holders of all other countries it is mandatory that they must produce a valid International Driving License or a temporary driving permit from the nearest Traffic Department in UAE prior to renting a vehicle. International or National Driving license in any other language other than Arabic and English should be translated into Arabic or English. The translation should be attested by the Embassy.
GCC nationals will be required to hold a valid GCC driving license.
For those who have a Resident Visa in UAE is required to hold U.A.E driving license.
For those who are under 25 years old are not allowed to drive the car.
Please note that driving without a Valid UAE driving license when on residence visa is a violation of the law.
The rental payment has to be paid by the Renter in advance for the whole rental period. The Company shall prepare invoices for traffic violations and the amounts to be borne for accidents or any other charges or fines and shall be enclosed to the necessary documents, and then the Renter shall pay the value of such invoices immediately from the date of receipt them.
The Renter shall also bear all the prescribed fees for using the credit card, SALIK and all the traffic violations and fines that arise during the period of using the Vehicle.
All of our cars are installed with Salik sticker which will be AED 5 per passage at the Salik toll gates.
In case of dishonoured cheque, delayed payments or release from police case due to balanced payment a charge of AED 200/- each will be charged as penalty for each occurrence.
The hirer should return the vehicle the same fuel level as given by the company. If not, the hirer will be responsible to pay the fuel charges in addition to an extra service charge.
The renter requires depositing 2000 AED in advance as pre-authorization in a special account with the Company as guarantee for payment of any unpaid amounts or cancelling of the Agreement in future which will be reimbursed at the end of the Agreement. The Company will retain above mentioned deposit amount for a period of 15 days after the expiry of the Agreement, for settling any violations or liabilities on the Renter that may appear after the rent expiry.
In case of any accident of the vehicle at the renters fault or third party involved a charge of AED 2000/- will apply.
In case of any accident, renter should not move the vehicle from the place of accident before the required documents are made by the authorised police. Otherwise the renter is fully responsible.
In case of an accident, occurred because of the “driver” was influenced by alcohol or any other substitutes having the same effect, then he is subject to pay complete compensation for all the damages caused to the vehicle.
Renter is not eligible to use vehicle to draw another vehicle or use it in races; he will be fully responsible for any damages.
Not allowed to use vehicle outside U.A.E. Insurance policy valid inside the United Arab Emirates, Only if approved by concerned authorities.
In case of any accident of the vehicle at renter’s fault or no third party involved a charge of AED 2000/- should be paid + 20% of the cost will be paid by the renter for the replacement of spare parts.
In case of an accident or technical trouble, renter has to inform Al Rais Rent a Car. Renter is not allowed to repair without permission of the car rental company.
In case of any damaged caused due to tyres of the vehicle, the renter will be responsible to bear the expenses; as for carelessness, negligence or ignorance of the renter.
It is prohibited to carry alcohol inside the car. If any found inside the car by police authority, the driver will be fully responsible for all the consequences.
Renter is not allowed to hand over the vehicle to unlicensed driver, otherwise the renter takes full responsibility for the consequences.
Unlimited Mileage on daily and weekly rental.
An extra charge for the limited on monthly rentals. A charge of AED 0.50 Fils per extra KMs.
Failure to report the vehicle for maintenance service, mileage mentioned on the window screen of the vehicle an engine flushing charge of AED 300/- will be levied.
Only 1 hour grace period is allowed. Beyond 1 hour, full-day charges as per the tariff card will be charged directly from the hirer.
10. VAT
5% VAT will be imposed on final billing after returning the vehicle.
